[Fury has found himself in possession of a small kitten, currently doing its utmost best to knock all the papers from his desk. don't ask why he has a kitten; it's not important. what is important is he has one, and it is wreaking havoc in his office, and he can't decide whether to shoot it or what because there is a goddamn kitten mucking up his business

[He gestures to the kitten, which is at this very moment trying to climb Mt. Fury]

[Okay he'll actually try to help now, leaning back in his chair and folding his arms. 'Cause as much as Fury might hate this, it's a welcome distraction from what he really came here for.]

[he manages to get the kitten back on the desk without causing it any undue harm, glaring between it and Clint because why not]

That's a possibility. Too bad she's off for the next two days.

You could just leave it in her room. As a 'Welcome back' gift.
