[Fury has found himself in possession of a small kitten, currently doing its utmost best to knock all the papers from his desk. don't ask why he has a kitten; it's not important. what is important is he has one, and it is wreaking havoc in his office, and he can't decide whether to shoot it or what because there is a goddamn kitten mucking up his business

Bruce chuckled, and picked the little terror up off the desk, gently holding him in his arms. The kitten looked a little uncertain when he sniffed him...which was to be expected, considering.

But then he settled down, and started to purr. "I don't know, I think he's kind of cute," he replied. "Does he have a name?"

"No." For being a giant rage monster, Banner had a way with animals. Fury would need to keep this in mind for any future reference. For the time being, though, he simply sat back and watched. "Got any ideas?"

[tiptoeing]

"What about Schrödinger?" he asked, innocently. Tony would get the reference, but Fury might not. Which might be amusing, if Tony found out. Of course, Tony finding out Fury had a kitten would be amusing enough on its own. Fury would never hear the end of it.

Fury was smarter than he let on, what with being the head of a super secret spy organization, and he gave Bruce a warped smile. "Something a little less ambiguous."

[tiptoeing]

Bruce gave him a slight smile in return. "You could name it after Loki. Imagine his reaction when he finds out you've named a tiny, harmless fuzzball after him." And Thor's reaction, for that matter.

The look Fury levels toward Banner is impressive, considering the looks Fury usually levels toward people who say dumb shit in his vicinity. "I'm not naming it anything. It's not mine."
